I created a personal blogging system for my friends at The HoBB which allows them to quickly put up news, comments and articles of interest with pictures, all with minimal HTML knowledge.

They simply enter their article and if they want, upload and position a picture. They assign a category for their articles and click on a publish button and the whole site updates itself: links, pictures, pages, search engine, search engine registration and probably a few more things which I can’t remember.

It needs a bit of tweaking here and there and a few pages of content need to be added and linked to, but after that my friends will be able to keep adding new articles as and when they want without my involvement.
