The Time To Change Your Clocks For Day Light Savings
Saturday, October 25th, 2008If you haven’t got automatic updates on your clocks, watches and other time pieces then don’t forget to change them tomorrow as British Summer Time (Day Light Saving Time) officially ends tonight.
Even though we go through these changing activities twice every year, I never really knew when to change the time, and more recently I have relied on my PDA to do it for me.
So for unaware dunces like me, here is the information you need to change your time manually.
In 2008:
Move your clock BACKWARD 1 hour on Sunday 26th October at 1.00 am
In 2009:
Move your clock FORWARD 1 hour on Sunday 29th March at 1.00 am
Move your clock BACKWARD 1 hour on Sunday 25th October at 1.00 am
In 2010:
Move your clock FORWARD 1 hour on Sunday 28th March at 1.00 am
Move your clock BACKWARD 1 hour on Sunday 31th October at 1.00 am
In 2011:
Move your clock FORWARD 1 hour on Sunday 27th March at 1.00 am
Move your clock BACKWARD 1 hour on Sunday 30th October at 1.00 am
If you’re like me, I don’t expect you’ll make changes at 1 o’clock at night as you’ll either be asleep or out having fun.
See you in the morning!
Thank you to Greenwich Mean Time for your help.
