To Her Majesty (Queen Elizabeth II) and Your Services…
…Thank you for your cheque today.
I frequently get cheques for my services and advertising solutions which I supply to clients, and I try to thank most of the people who make the payments. I must admit that I can be certain that I don’t thank everyone all of the time, so this article also acts as a public apology for not thanking everyone every time.
I have taken for granted receiving payments for my services, especially those where I have not met a client for some time or ever. I must start appreciating the work that I do and the trust my clients have in me and their payments which I receive. I must realise that there are not many service companies that never meet their clients but still get paid for the services. Isn’t this is a great and trust worthy world be live in!
And back to the point… how many times do you get a cheque from Her Majesty’s Service. Not many times, I guess! And even if you do, do you actually thank The Queen and Her Service for it. Probably not because you don’t ever get to meet her.
So this article is dedicated to thanking the Queen and Her services for their payment received today for a mistake I did not know I made.
