You can show your own videos from your own site and from other sites, and you can show other videos on your own site.
The advantage of showing videos from your own site is that you can quickly update the video on your site and the video display code will simply show the updated video as soon as you have uploaded it to your site (as long as it has the same file name).
The advantage of showing videos from other sites is that your site will not incur bandwidth usage, as the video will stream from the other sites. However, it may take a while to change the video and then you need to make sure that the video URL is the same as it was before, otherwise you will need to upload a new video and then change the URL reference to the video on your site.
You can also show other videos before the main video as an advert, or show adverts overlaid over the video. For example for a sponsor.
