No Water Supply In Birmingham
The water supply stopped this morning about 9am and it’s been off since.
I asked the neighbours if they were experiencing the same thing and if they had been given a notice about the water being cut off for any reason – Yes and No were the respective answers, so I called Severn Trent Water to find out what was happening and got an recorded message about there being an issue in the Birmingham area and that engineers were looking into it.
I need a poo and shower but am thinking about how to manage them, especially the poo. Such experiences wake you up a bit and in a way enforce us to appreciate aspects of life that we take for granted.
Anyway, I popped into Asda this morning to pick up some water which resolves the cooking and drink water issues but my poo and shower need a resolution – as water supply seems to be down in the Birmingham area, the only option I have at the moment is to wait or find a public place out of town.
…I hear gushing water…wait…yeah! – it’s back (11:53am). Thank you universe – I can have a poo and shower in comfort now.
