Windows 7 Works!

I spent a few hours yesterday backing up my Vista system so that I can re-install it if the new Windows 7 system did not work for me.

Today, I installed Windows 7 with a hope that it would be a bit faster, less clunky and more “do what you’d expect from an upgrade from Windows XP”

Well, after a few hours of installing the operating system and re-installing all the programs that I use, I found it much less of a headache in trying to get programs to work and do the work that I did with Windows XP.

Windows 7 seems to be slightly faster than Vista and it doesn’t come up with silly additional steps and clicks to do what I did with XP.

So good on you guys who developed Windows 7 (or fixed Windows Vista) and so I recommend it to all you who are looking for an upgrade from XP.
