Apparently I Have The Best Quality Home Building Work In The Area

I just been updated from India by my manager that other builders from the local area in Porbandar are coming to see the 2 homes that I’m building and they are saying that they have not seen anyone build homes such as the ones I’m building with the quality of materials and workmanship.

Being only the second set of homes that I have designed and built in India, all I can say is thank you.

Exterior Colour Primer Being Painted On Homes

I’ve just had a visual updated (in the form of photos) of the colour work on the 2 homes.

As you can see the exterior primer has almost been completed, ready for the top Weather Shield coats of coloured paints as per the proposed design.

Colours of Front and Back of Homes

I’ve decided on the colours for the front and back of the homes that I am building in India.

I’ve used the colours that I am using on the interior of the house.

For those of you in the UK, the colours may seem quite strong or childish, but I have found that rich colours such as the ones I have used work well in India.

I have emailed the images below (with a few additional notated images) over to India and so the preparation and painting work should be started within the next few days.

Floor and Wall Tiling Work Started

Tiling of all the floors, bathroom/toilet walls, kitchen and kitchen wash area has been started.

I only managed to get a chance to take photos of the bathroom/toilet tiling work before I left, so that’s all you can see for now.

Separate Piping For Drinking Water Being Installed

One interested buyer of the homes asked about how we accommodated the separate drinking water that the society gets, be it limited to a few hours a day.

After asking a few people about this, which I was not aware of at all, I was advised that in the future all homes should have a regular supply of drinking water and hence piping for it should be installed.

So both homes will have separate piping brought to the back of the homes from the front, where the water is usually supplied. For now the piping will simply be installed and sealed at both ends until the water is supplied.
