Saturday, November 18th, 2006After hours of trying to adjust the position of elements of Scott Alan Willick’s blog.txt theme to accommodate Google AdSense code, I gave up.
simply couldn’t get the layout to appear the same on different browsers (IE, Firefox, Netscape). I don’t think the problem was with Scott’s theme but moreso the different ways that browsers interpret layout code. In this case it was mostly DIV tags and their padding and margin settings which just weren’t being positioned in identical places when it came to formatting columns and rows of page elements.
