A Week In Egypt

We fancied a quick break as a family and so we decided to go to Egypt (again).

It was Googly’s first trip abroad and she took to it well considering the extreme heat in Sharm El Sheikh.

Thank you to all the management and staff at Coral Sea Imperial Hotel for making our time very comfortable and a special thanks to Ahmed Shayw who ran the bar near our apartment - you made it worth my while. Thank you.

A Rainbow at Home.

I walked out of our patio doors as it was sunny and suddenly it started to rain - the sun was still out so I automatically thought “where’s the rainbow” I looked around in front of me but could not see one and so I thought my science logic may be incorrect.

After a few moments I turned a bit more to my right and saw the rainbow.

FireFox Takes Over Internet Explorer…

…On my computer anyway!.. I’ve been using Internet Explorer (IE) since version 2 since a time long long ago and I’ve always used the latest stable release, but over the past year or so I have noticed that IE has crashed and hung with no response so many times.

After getting back from my property investment and development projects in India, I updated my desktop with the latest Microsoft updates, as I had not done so for about a month, and the IE crashes and hangs still continued. So I reinstalled the whole operating system (OS), all my programs and updated the OS and IE, but after a few days of use IE still hangs. Idn’t know if the issues are with the OS or IE, but in the frankest terms, I’ve got better things to do in life (Thank You Life) than to investigate the issue.

So, FireFox is now my default browser, perhaps forever. Sorry Microsoft, but you’ve had long enough to sort out your OS and IE.

So goodbye Internet Explorer and Hello Mozilla Firefox.

I would usually expect the sky towards nightfall to be red but tonight it was blue.

I don’t know why but who cares! It was a beautiful sight at about 10.00pm and I thought you may like to see it.

Krystal had her very first birthday a couple fo days before I went to India on my property development projects, so I haven’t had the time till now to get some photos up.

Googly (Krystal) Stands

Googly has learned how to stand!

I have been wanting to see Googly get more independent and she has been learning to get up on her feet over the past week or so and today, I managed to grab the camera to take a shot of her getting up on her feet on her own.

It was a great to see her get up but greater to see herself happy with her self being able to get up on her own.

By the way, Googly has a shaved head because it seems to be a known fact that when you shave, the hair comes back thicker and stronger.

Sorry Googly - one day you may hate us for this but at the moment you seem cool with it.
