1. The science about warmth preventing the growth of flu and coronaviruses in the body.

There are a number of different viruses; rhinoviruses and corona viruses that show up every year and bring us all the symptoms of a flu or cold.

Viruses that affect the respiratory system.

The respiratory system is where air comes in and goes out. Viruses that affect the respiratory system replicate at temperatures below body temperature (at 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius).

When a virus of this nature infects a cell it doesn't replicate at 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius because that is too warm. If the temperature drops a couple of degrees then the virus kicks in.

So the virus doesn't operate at body temperature, it operates at a temperature colder than body temperature.

That's why flu season is associated with winter.

When you keep breathing in colder air from the environment then the respiratory tract is not at body temperature, it's colder than body temperature because the air is cold and the body is trying to warm it up.

The temperature of the respiratory tract starts to drop when cold air comes into the body, it uses up the heat. The body heat warms up the air, but there's a point where the body can't warm up the cold air to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius, and the cold air gets down into the lung.

A cold season offers an opportunity for these viruses to replicate in the respiratory system because the temperature of the system has dropped below 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius, and the colder temperatures support the growth of these viruses.

The above is a summary of key points from a full video webinar with Bruce H. Lipton PhD (a stem cell biologist and internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit).

Key information & exercise:

Stay out of the cold and be in the warmth. Breathing in warm air should keep your nose, throat, and lungs at the temperature of the body (at 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius) which should prevent viruses growing in the body.
